Edmond Baudoin, the most senior of our crew members (84 years old), is already "at work"—that's it, we can say the CCE is launched! The crew is getting to know each other, discovering or rediscovering the joys of sailing. We're heading to Barcelona where the rest of the team will join us.
Connecting the shores of the Mediterranean: connecting means "making united." 
April 4, 2026 - Departure from Marseille, with fanfare, in a flotilla!
Distribution of our "Preservation Packets" to the 18 Thousand Madleen boats departing today. Photo Marathon "Crossed Perspectives," photos sent, printed, and displayed in real time from Gaza, Aida Camp (Bethlehem), and Marseille… Departure with fanfare and in a flotilla before the crowd gathered at the Mucem… and departure for Barcelona where we join the Global Sumud Flottilla for the April 12 departure! 
April 3, 2026 - Final preparations
We're racing against the clock, the equipment, the emergencies, the things we absolutely mustn't forget, the storage kits, the deliveries, the repairs, the loading… the engine that won't start… the concert organized by CASI Cheminots PACA in Aix (our partners), the arrival of the last artists who will be boarding… Thank you to everyone who gave their all for this decisive, fateful, exciting and exhausting day… Tomorrow, we depart! 
April 2, 2026 - HK accepts our invitation
Kaddour, the singer from HK, accepted the CCE's invitation and came to support the flotillas with his songs and two of his musicians… a truly moving experience… from "Salam aleykoum" to "On lâche rien" and "Citoyens du Monde"…

Arrival in L'Estaque on the "Nameless Quay" renamed "Gaza Quay" by the Thousand Madleen who have been occupying it for weeks with the help of activists and local residents... Thank you for the welcome!
